Yes! You read that right! My Watty-winning book is headed to a bookshelf early next Spring! I will hopefully be able to walk into my local Indigo and find it there!
There is a lot of work to do on the book before then (editing, new cover, lots of promo decisions and such), and we've already done some awesome edits that I know make the books so much better! I can't wait for everyone to read the new and improved story, and fall in love with Josh and Gretchen all over again. Honestly? I'm still pinching myself that I get to do this.
I am also discovering I really enjoy the editing process. I actually got excited when I got my editorial letter from Deanna when we started in on the first edits. She told me most writers dread editing. I know... weirdo writer over here. So stay tuned, I'll be posting updates, and sharing parts of the journey of becoming a traditionally published author as I can both here on my blog and on my Wattpad profile! It is a dream come true, an adventure I can't wait to start, and a massive honour. This is happening because a large amount of people have supported me, believed in me, and believed in the book.
